First day in Paris, spent it at the Louvre. It is so packed inside. My tour guide Belen did an outstanding job hitting all the important artworks I may have missed if I toured the museum without a guide.

The Louvre-wow!!! Just amazing. We had a 2.5 hour private guided tour and our guire was outstanding. With only 2.5 hours though there is so much left to see. She was great at showign everything that is really important, however we went back later in the afternoon around 5:00 PM and stayed until they closed at 9:30 PM they are open late on Wednesdays and Fridays we were able to take our time and there were very few people there during this visit.

We met our guide Athina at the Louvre. She was prompt and got us in to the Louvre with our skip-the-line tickets and proceeded to give us a very thorough tour of the Louvre in the 2 1/2 hours that we had with her. She was not only a bundle of energy, but was knowledgeable and friendly. If you can arrange to get her for a tour, I would highly recommend her. Simply a delightful person and very, very smart and knew her stuff about all periods of art.

Amazing! I highly recommend a private tour - there is just so much to see and it was nice to hit all the top must see. Our tour guide was absolutely phenomenal I truly wish I could remember her name. I felt like I asked some crazy questions and she answered them all! She was so educated and I learned a ton from her. You absolutely cannot go wrong with this tour! Have fun!

Having a private tour of the Louvre, particularly in the late afternoon, couldn't have been better. We were able to view important works of art with an excellent guide. Our understanding of the significance of these paintings and sculpture, made the Louvre more enjoyable and approachable. This was preferable than wandering through a gigantic museum with headphones or a guidebook. The shorter time frame was easier on older, tired feet. We went straight to dinner and discussed all that we learned in the museum. Europe can be so daunting, and one cannot cram 2,000 years of history and culture into one vacation. It is better to leave wanting more, rather than making every day a cultural cram session.

Great tour with the guide having a wealth of knowledge about the paintings,artifacts and the history from which the paintings belonged. Highly recommend the tour if you do not want to roam the museum without knowledge and history and where to go and see the highlights. A lot to cover in a short time.

My husband and I had a 2 to 3 hour private tour of the Louvre with Lucia on 4/17/2017. She was spectacular! She was very knowledgeable about the history of the Louvre and she answered all of our questions. She went at our pace, not rushed, but not too slow either. We hit all of the highlights and she suggested a few things, based on what she could tell we were interested in. I highly recommend the skip the line tour, and I would make a special request for Lucia, she was great!

We've been to the Louvre several times even took a tour in the past, but this private tour was the best experience, by far. Our guide, Paulo, was amazing! He curated our tour perfectly. He gave us a very unique insider's perspective highlighting not only the mind-boggling art history but also focusing on the Louvre's complicated provenance and evolution over time. He pointed out so many additional awesome sights that were missed on our prior visits. This tour was well worth the investment. I would highly recommend it to everyone! Additionally, it should be noted that my husband is wheelchair-bound. Paulo's knowledge and navigation of handicapped access routes was seamless and essential to making this a fabulous experience.

We did a private tour with Bellen (sp?) of the Louvre. The tour was incredible and Bellen really gave us the framework for viewing art. We learned so much on the tour and the time flew by because we were so engrossed in the tour. I highly recommend booking a tour with Bellen.

We had a fabulous 2-1/2 hour tour of the Louvre with Christina (not sure if I'm spelling it right). She fully engaged my elderly parents as well as my teenage daughter. She was amazing -- so knowledgeable and so interesting. She did a great job of navigating the crowds and moving us along. I didn't want it to end!

This was an incredible tour, and without a doubt exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Belen, was exceptional. She was of course very personable, polite, and thoughtful: she told us numerous times that we should tell her if she needs to speed up or slow down, to ask questions, etc. The amazing thing about her was how engaging she made the overall experience. She was clearly very passionate about the history of the city, and very very knowledgeable in topics ranging from history to architecture to art, religion and even Egyptology. Belen translated this passion into an engaging conversation with us, which made the whole tour feel like a true learning experience as opposed to simply memorize these dates and names because this is important per academia or popular for various reasons.The fact that she was quite funny also helped convey many of her points and material. This was a dense tour with lots of information, quite a bit of walking around Paris but not overwhelming, and inside the Louvre. Belen asked us about whether we wished to opt for a slower or more intense/fast pace to cover more ground. She suggested a few places to grab lunch, and offered some good advice about art galleries which we were after. We would highly encourage anyone to take this tour for an immersive and invaluable orientation, not only for first-time Paris visitors.

Our guide, Lucia, was outstanding. I am a college professor in America and found that Lucia's knowledge was illuminating and demonstrated a solid foundation of factual information. Her enthusiasm was especially inspiring, and her ability to engage in thought-provoking discussion was a highlight of the tour. From a practical perspective, her command of the English language was nearly flawless. As a result, we would recommend Lucia without hesitation to individuals that are genuinely enthusiastic about expanding their understanding of art and history. This was a private family tour (2 adults / 2 children). Our tour guide Claudia was superb! Friendly, informative and great with our children aged 9, 10 yrs old. Highly recommend her private Louvre tour. It is a massive museum and you can really get so much more out of your visit with a friendly and knowledgeable guide!

Carolina was a great guide through The Louvre. She guided us to all of the main pieces and provided an historical overview of the building and the art. One can tell that she really enjoys the museum, which made our experience so exceptional. Tom with Babylon was also outstanding. The museum was closed temporarily due to the recent flooding, and he kept in contact with us to provide updates and offers to reschedule. We were fortunate that the museum re-opened just in time for us to visit. Will book through Babylon again when we return.

Lilly was our tour guide. What a spectacular guide she was!! Her deep knowledge of art and art history were awesome and there is no way anyone should ever go to the Louvre without the assistance of this type of guide. She makes me want to go back to college to study art history! I've visited the Louvre in the past - looked at the famous paintings and sculptures - and moved on. This time - I wanted to spend a week there, but only if I had someone who knew something about the back stories of the art explaining things to me. This is well worth the money (actually worth more than they are charging). Very satisfied!
